Scale Transitions in Chemistry and Biology

 04 - 08 Jun 2012

ICMS

Scientific Organiser(s):

  • Jonathan D Evans, University of Bath
  • John King, University of Nottingham
  • Adrian Muntean, Technical University of Eindhoven
  • Mark A Peletier, Technical University of Eindhoven

About:

This workshop enhanced mathematical activity concerning scale transitions in chemistry and biology by bringing together experts from different mathematical communities and well-established researchers at the interfaces with chemistry and biology. These cross-disciplinary participants presented problems and issues of importance to chemical and biological researchers. The common thread of this workshop was the need for multiscale approaches.
