ICMS is located in the award-winning Bayes Centre which opened in 2018. We have a flexible space designed to meet the many and diverse needs of the mathematical sciences. We have blackboards, seminar rooms, video conferencing, space to think and work in small groups and the most inspiring views.
If you would like to book a room at ICMS to hold a meeting or seminar please email us. This email account is monitored every morning. If you do not receive a reply the day you send your message you will receive a reply the next day.
ICMS' flexible workshop facilities include:
- Large seminar room (5.10) with fixed seating for up to 74, a wall of blackboards and the full range of audio visual facilities, including recording equipment. Events can be recorded but this must be arranged in advance.
- Smaller seminar room (5.02) with flexible seating for up to 40, there are blackboards and the full range of audio visual facilities, including recording equipment. Events can be recorded but this must be arranged in advance.
- There is a large breakout area (5.03) with panaromic views across the city and beyond, including wonderful views of Arthur's Seat. This area has seating for up to 80 people for catering or for group working. This area is equipped with many blackboards.
- There is a smaller breakout area (5.01) for quiet working.
- There are other rooms within the Bayes Centre that can be made available to ICMS visitors on request.
Blackboards are available across Level 5 and wireless internet is available throughout the building.

There is a public cafe on the Ground Floor open Monday - Friday.
