About:

To apply to attend, please use the form above. The closing date for applications is Wednesday 20 December 2023 and all applicants will be notified of the decisions of the scientific organisers by early February 2024. No late applications will be accepted. All participants will be required to pay a 150.00 GBP workshop registration fee.

This workshop aims to provide an opportunity for PhD students and postdocs to form new collaborations and generate new research in the areas of Extremal and Probabilistic, Geometric, and Structural Combinatorics.

The workshop will include the following invited participants:

Dr Linda Cook, Institute for Basic Science, South Korea
Dr Gábor Damásdi, Alfréd Rényi Institute, Hungary
Dr Freddie Illingworth, UCL
Dr Amarja Kathapurkar, University of Birmingham
Dr Letícia Mattos, UIUC, USA
Dr Jonathan Narboni, Jagiellonian University, Poland
Dr Olaf Parczyk, Freie Universität Berlin, Germany

Other participants will be asked to submit open problems alongside their application, some of which will be selected to be presented and worked on during the workshop. We aim to include a diverse mix of participants over a range of stages of PhD and postdoctoral research, and to foster a friendly environment in which to work on exciting open problems. As well as most of the time being devoted to collaborative work, there will also be some short lectures and research talks.
