The map below shows the location of the ICMS headquarters at 15 South College Street, Edinburgh in relation to city centre landmarks. Edinburgh has a compact city centre and ICMS is within reasonable walking distance of the main rail and bus stations.

N.B.We regularly hold events at other venues in the city. If you are attending an ICMS workshop or other event, please check the location on the web page for the event. Each event's page should give directions specific to its venue.

Arriving by Car and Parking

15 South College Street does not have its own car park. There is limited on-street parking in the area. It is expensive and designed for short stays. If, however, you have a Blue Badge for disabled parking the charges are waived.

There are two car parks within walking distance of ICMS. One is in Niddry Street, just off the Royal Mile and the other is in the at St John's Hill, on the Pleasance. This map shows the location of all city centre car parks.

Bus Travel in Edinburgh

There are two bus companies in Edinburgh. Links to their sites are given below. Both sites carry timetables.

The buses in Edinburgh are not equipped to give change. You should carry selection of coins in order to have the exact fare.

• Lothian Buses
  The largest bus company in Edinburgh. Routes 2, 3, 5, 7, 14, 23, 27, 29, 30, 31, 33, 35, 37, 41, 42, 45, 47, 48 and 67 all pass close to South College Street. The fare is a standard £1.20 for any single journey and an all day pass will costs £3.
• First Edinburgh
  First Edinburgh also provide local bus services in the city and the surrounding towns.  Many of their routes will take you to South Bridge and Nicolson Street, which are not far from South College Street. Fares on these buses vary according to distance and are around £1.20.
