Abstract

The talk will consider the process of adaptation of unstructured terahedral grids to meet specified requirements. The first example considered will be that of adapting an isotropic grid to produce an initial grid suitable for the simulation of viscous flows, where highly stretched meshes are frequently required. The second example will consider the problem of adapting a grid to enable the simulation of transient flows with moving boundary components.
