This house is the birthplace of James Clerk Maxwell and is situated in the historic New Town of Edinburgh, very near the centre. Facilities include email and rooms suitable for small discussion groups. Accommodation Participants will arrange their own accommodation. A list of central Edinburgh accommodation of various sorts and prices is available here. Meals and Refreshments Morning and afternoon refreshments will be provided at 14
India Street every day. On Monday 27 June a sandwich lunch will be
provided and there will be an informal reception after the last talk.
On Thursday 30 June at 19.00 a workshop dinner will be held in the St
Trinnean Room, St Leonard’s Hall, University of Edinburgh. The dress
code is informal and there is no cost to workshop participants for this
