EC Funding for young EU scientists
To apply for this funding - which will subsidise most of your local costs and make a siginficant contribution to travel costs - you should be under 35 and a citizen of an EU country or an associated state (please check your eligibility on www.cordis.lu/fp5/src/3rdcountries.htm) and currently working in an EU state.

You should complete the 'Case for Support' section of this form with a brief (<100-word) description of your area of research and why you want to attend the conference (e.g. contributions you can make; benefits you expect to gain, possible interrelations between your area and nonlinear partial differential equations etc.). If you are a PhD student, we will also need a letter of recommendation from your supervisor who should be certain you would benefit from participation. An email letter from your supervisor will suffice.

ICMS/LMS partial support
To apply for this support, worth £250, you must be a scientist resident and working in the UK. You should also have sufficient funds to cover your travel costs and the balance of your costs. Please also complete 'Case for Support' section in the form of a brief description of your area of work and why you want to attend the conference, e.g. contributions you can make and benefits you expect to gain.
