The Point Hotel is a modern
hotel situated near the centre of Edinburgh, around 20 minutes walk away from
India Street. Its restaurant is well known for good food at reasonable prices
and is highly recommended by the Scottish Chefs Association. The set dinner menu costs £12.90 for three courses. There is a choice of four or five dishes for each course, including two vegetarian options. House wine is around £11 per bottle. There is also a reasonably extensive wine list.
