| The Workshop
will discuss the scientific and technical challenges posed by the use of data
in high-resolution modelling of storm systems. The aim is to identify the best
ways of using existing resources and to help formulate detailed scientific
proposals to form part of future scientific strategic research programmes.
Attendance at the meeting is by invitation only. It will bring together experts
in small-scale meteorological data assimilation and forecasting and
mathematicians who have relevant experience from other application areas.
