Workshop on Statistics in Volcanology

The general theme of the workshop is the promotion and dissemination of contemporary statistical thinking and understanding as an aid to tackling complex problems arising in volcanology. A key objective of the Workshop is to help researchers and students in both volcanological and statistical disciplines share knowledge, establish common interests and develop future collaborations. The participation of students and postdoctoral researchers as well as of established academics is welcomed. Numbers will be limited to retain the workshop character. Applications to attend can be made via the form here. The Scientific Organisers will inform applicants of the result of their application in January 2004.
