ICMS KE Catalyst/Global Power System Transformation Consortium AI workshop

 19 - 23 Feb 2024

ICMS, Bayes Centre, Edinburgh

An ICMS KE Catalyst workshop

About:

The Global Power System Transformation consortium (G-PST) is an international alliance of electricity system operators, formed to drive the developments in technology and changes in practice required for the transition to a decarbonised electricity supply. This workshop will scope AI solutions to challenges posed by the system operators, interpreting AI in a broad sense of automated decision support, and including data-driven approaches, new developments in areas such as generative AI, decision support systems for integrating different sources of energy and uncertainty in planning, and software and computing platforms for implementation. While there will be particular interest in the relevance of emerging AI technologies, the overall philosophy will be application-driven, identifying solutions to industry challenges without pre-supposing particular technology approaches.

The deadline for applying to attend has now closed. No late applications will be accepted.
